and hey, how ya holdin' up...? Are you alright?
The sky was such a dark, gloomy hue of blue as the night wore on, being blocked by the tall trees. Tree after tree blurred past the weapon. Crunching of grass, brittle leaves and heavy panting overlapping what should be just the whispering of the wind. She ran on into the chilly night, cold sweat running down her face and neck as she had been running for a long while. How long now...? Three-four hours straight. She was running low on steam, only getting as much sleep as to how long she had been sprinting. Tsubaki was in a hurry, but what was she running from?
A certain nightmare had been plauging her for some two and a half months now, about 4-5 nights a week, leaving her tired almost all day. Every trick in the book she tried, flipping over her pillow and such wouldn't help. And now, she was running from it. But.... what exactly? She didn't know. All she knew that no harm could be done to the dark apparation, since she tried it a few times with her shurikens. She didn't want to risk confronting it, which could most likely cost her of life. Too many people counted on her. Then, her worst fear while evading struck, and she crashed into a something... wait, no.. a someone. She landed on her back hard with a gasp, the air being knocked from her lungs. She started to cough. She had little time, even when she gained some distance surprisingly. She hopped up after a few seconds, though, it felt like a few minutes.
